MAPLE STORY 2 LIVE IN THE WEST

As a huge NEXON fan since the late 90s, I am extremely excited to see another MMO come out of the Korean 2.5D kings (imo.) I have been watching a few beta streamers play this and am super stoked to play this now that it is released. I will stream a little bit of it on twitch as well as do some simple game reviews once I get the hang of the new layout.

I played MapleStory in highschool mid 00s and loved it, but as fun and cute as it was, the community just wasn’t there enough for me. The game was just too much grind and not enough mingling. Hopefully they have addressed this or possibly me being an adult now will help!

I look forward to playing with everyone who jumps in. Join me on North America East server. My name is Thenit!

EMINEM'S ALBUM SAMPLES KINGDOM HEARTS

Eminem dropped a new album over the weekend that has everyone hyped. Mostly over his sh*t talk towards 'lesser' artists. But one thing that didn't slip through the cracks is his sample on "Good Guy". Illa Da Producer admitted to using Utada Hikaru's vocals from Simple & Clean albeit chopped to itty bitty pieces and then diced behind Marshall's lyrics. Obviously, hip hop taking samples from video games is no new trick, but it is very awesome to see an A-lister like Eminem use such amazing music from a classic JRPG like Kingdom Hearts.

ALCHEMIST CODE 2.0

It’s been a few months since our introduction to “The Alchemist Code” (TAC)and the team at GUMI has been extremely busy. Since our first feature, “The Alchemist Code” has gone through it’s 5 Million Downloads Celebration, a Version 2.0 update, multiple collaborations, game enhancements, new original characters, and more character job types. GUMI has kept up with the disparaging differences between beginning and veteran players by introducing beginner events that help get the new players up to speed quicker.

POKEMON LETS GO TRAILER

The need for a Nintendo Switch has never been higher on my priority list. This game looks like an absolute blast. The Pokemon Let's Go game looks extremely immersive especially with the merging of Pokemon Go app. I will definitely choose Eevee edition. I believe this is another amazing step in the right direction by Nintendo/Game Freak. They also have plans to release a full on RPG in 2019, which will most likely break the universe. I along with billions of other Pokemon fans have been crying for literal decades for a real RPG/MMO.

NINTENDO RE-RELEASING NES CLASSIC IN JUNE 2018

Currently extremely hard to find, the NES really got the ball rolling in the 80s when it came to consoles. Giving us 8bit classics like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, and much more. I played the NES and then SNES as my first consoles as a kid, so I am super excited for the re-release and miniaturized version of the NES Classic.

SHADOW OF COLOSSUS PS4 REMASTER / FIRST IMPRESSION

While I never played the original Shadow of Colossus on PS2 back in the day, I always heard great things. So when I heard it was being remastered for the PS4 I *HAD* to try it out.

From the opening scene, I could understand the hype. The graphics, while not Square Enix level, are outstanding and the ability to move the camera during cutscenes is fun.

I immediately jumped in after listening to a mysterious 'god' voice telling me I need to kill some random Colossi in order to save this random woman.
