HUNTER X HUNTER IS BACK AGAIN - SEPT SHONEN JUMP

Yoshihiro Togashi's latest hiatus is finally over, bringing our favorite young heroes from Hunter X Hunter, Gon and Killua, back into Shonen Jump on SEPT 22. How long will this burst of chapters last? Probably 5-10, but I am still super excited to pick up where he left off. The manga has been on a break since April, and the 36th collected volume should release early October.

EMINEM'S ALBUM SAMPLES KINGDOM HEARTS

Eminem dropped a new album over the weekend that has everyone hyped. Mostly over his sh*t talk towards 'lesser' artists. But one thing that didn't slip through the cracks is his sample on "Good Guy". Illa Da Producer admitted to using Utada Hikaru's vocals from Simple & Clean albeit chopped to itty bitty pieces and then diced behind Marshall's lyrics. Obviously, hip hop taking samples from video games is no new trick, but it is very awesome to see an A-lister like Eminem use such amazing music from a classic JRPG like Kingdom Hearts.

ONE PUNCH MAN SEASON 2 ANNOUNCED

Finally, it has been confirmed that we will be getting a second season of One Punch Man soon. The release date has been set for April 2019. This is after years (that seemed to fly by) of speculation and rumors. The biggest rumor had been 2020 earliest, but it looks like Saitama will be blessing the small screen with his hilariously OP superpowers.

The show should be simulcasted once again, but there is no official outlet announced yet.

ALCHEMIST CODE 2.0

It’s been a few months since our introduction to “The Alchemist Code” (TAC)and the team at GUMI has been extremely busy. Since our first feature, “The Alchemist Code” has gone through it’s 5 Million Downloads Celebration, a Version 2.0 update, multiple collaborations, game enhancements, new original characters, and more character job types. GUMI has kept up with the disparaging differences between beginning and veteran players by introducing beginner events that help get the new players up to speed quicker.

NOTHING IS DONE: JERROD'S S2000

Meet Jerrod, a southern boy with a waifu complex. Jerrod is connoisseur of all things whiskey, S2000, 80s-90s Japan, and Cowboy Bebop. So naturally he fits right in with our group of friends. He is quiet and conserved, but busts out some big moves when it comes to his car; recently fitting his front end with a Spoon V2 front bumper and some YAGI carbon side splitters. He is going to plaster a Voltex rear diffuser under the back to round out the aero and then continue his trek towards more mechanical grip.

Jerrod also frequents our Circuit Days at NCM and is progressing nicely as a driver, becoming smoother each time he hits the course. It is always refreshing to see clean cars get beat on at the track. Follow him on instagram @tsukiko6287.

EDENSZERO: DEBUT CHAPTER

The creator of Fairy Tail has taken a swing at a space/science fiction manga. Head over to crunchyroll to read it!

The main characters are Rebecca (clearly Lucy) and Shiki (very much Natsu). Happy makes a reappearance, making me wonder if the universe is shared with Fairy Tail. And based off the artwork, we are going to be introduced to Erza 2.0 and more.

I read through the first chapter, and wasn't blown away, but also am excited to read/see more of Hiro Mashima's work. If they make this an anime, they better damn well finish the freaking series this time around.
